Be yourself no matter what the world does!
THE GRAPE TREE
A Grape tree and an Orange tree happened to be in the season at the same time. People gathered round the Grape fruit. They ate the Grape fruits and folded their faces in disgust. They frowned and abandoned the Grape fruit with loneliness and proceeded to the Orange tree. They ate the Orange fruits and smiled so beautifully well. They loved the Orange tree. The Grape fruit saw everything and felt so jealous and unhappy. The Grape wanted people to eat it fruit and smile too and also loved. The Grape fruit changed into an Orange tree and people eat from it and smiled. Now the Grape was satisfied and happy. And so the Grape fruit remained an orange until the season ended.
The next season approached for only Grapes and not Oranges. The Grape had a second chance to change back to Grape but refused. Been an Orange was just all it wanted. The Grape season end and Orange season ensues. The Grape which was an Orange rejoiced.
Some foreigners came to that location. They needed Grape fruits in large quantities to produce juice. The Grape fruit realised that been processed to fruit juice will bring more smiles and love from millions of people around the world. The Grape fruit was so excited and quickly tried to change back but couldn't. Grape season has passed and so it can't change.
The Grape fruit watch the foreigners leave empty-handed and wished they left with it fruits. And so the Grape fruit missed it chance of been loved better than an Orange. If only the Grape fruit remained a Grape, it would've been in a place were Oranges will envy to be.
MORAL LESSON:
No matter what people say to you, no matter how the world perceive you, being yourself is just the best thing you can do for yourself. Even if you don't get to meet people who'll love you for who you are or you only meet people who abandon you because of whom or what they want you to be but you couldn't be... Don't change into what they want just because you want to please them. Do not become what you're not, just to keep anyone loving you. You're not a puppet. Be patient. Just like the foreigners sought after the Grape, it's the same way the people who'll love you for who you're will find you and keep you. They'll cherish you with all the scars and imperfections you have. So be yourself always and wait for the right one..
